Monash Health Equipment Services is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and experienced Administration Assistant to join the team.(Grade 2, 32 hours per week, fixed term to 11/09/2026, Parental Leave Vacancy).
Equipment Services provides administrative support for patient equipment and therapy items required for discharge. The team is based at Moorabbin Hospital, however services are provided for all patients and hospitals across the Monash Health network.
About the Role
In this role you will work closely with staff and patients to provide exceptional customer service. You will work with a supportive, professional team and interact with a wide variety of staff across Monash Health.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting patients and staff with queries
-
Invoicing, receipting and processing payments
-
Financial records management
-
Providing effective administrative support & office management with the team

Working with internal and external stakeholders
-
Assisting the Administration Team Leader and Manager of Equipment Services
About You
This position requires an experienced, dynamic administration assistant to join our team. You enjoy working with people in a busy environment, have strong organisational skills and an ability to adapt to changes according to priorities and demands. You will need to have the ability to interact with patients and families in a sensitive and confidential manner whilst demonstrating empathy. You enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Strong data entry skills, experienced in financial management/invoicing systems and proficiency in the use of Microsoft office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook are essential.
Extensive administration and customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Previous background in health is preferred but not essential.
