About Us
Day Procedure Centre runs across 2 levels (level 2 and level 3). Both support the theatre activity on each level with admissions and discharges from a variety of speciality units including include Urology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Breast, Gynaecology, Gynaecology Oncology, Breast Surgery, and Orthopaedics. The unit also supports a variety of inpatient and outpatient clinics and supports the wards on site by providing interim care for patients awaiting transfer to the ward areas or awaiting discharge transport. The Day Procedure team strives for excellence in providing quality of care within a friendly and supportive environment.
About the Role
The Day Procedure Unit provides inpatient and outpatient care to patients across a wide range of surgical and non-surgical specialties. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual with excellent customer service and clerical skills to join our friendly and supportive team.

Days of Work: Thursday and Friday (Closed Public Holidays)

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong administrative abilities (sound knowledge of iPM, SMR and EMR), attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding service to patients and staff.
About You
The successful applicant will be responsible for:

The provision of efficient and effective clerical support to unit staff, patients and visitors.

Ensure appropriate standard of presentation and maintenance of reception area.

Maintaining the Monash Health visions and values.

Co-ordination of both inpatient and outpatient areas in relation to administrative support, inclusive of admissions, discharges and appointment planning.

Displaying competent technical skills and a professional attitude.
Previous clerical experience required.
