About the Role
We are looking for a Medical Imaging Technologist Grade 2 to join our close-knit team on a Full Time Fixed Term (Parental Leave) basis.
Join our small imaging family and enjoy work life balance, no night/shift work weekdays or weekends. Modalities offered on site include CT, MRI, mammography, fluoroscopy, xray, PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine

The Grade 2 Medical Imaging Technologist is required to assist with the daily operation of Radiology Services and ensure a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. The department is very supportive of CPD for all of our staff.
About You
Qualifications/ technical skills/ knowledge/ experience:
- A degree or equivalent in Medical Imaging which will ensure eligibility for registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist with AHPRA
- Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- A Victorian Radiation Users License, or recognised alternative
- Relevant post-graduate studies
- Demonstrable advanced skills and radiographic knowledge
- Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal skills involving good use of English
- Time management including capacity to prioritise effectively to meet the requirements of the position
- Proven ability to accept change with a commitment to high quality outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) patients
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Capable of exercising mature judgement in respect of the allocation and priority of duties
- Excellent customer orientation skills
