About the Role
We're seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Moorabbin Hospital. In this leadership role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of pharmacy technician services across dispensary, distribution and aseptic compounding. You'll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality medication management and service delivery.
This is full time, ongoing position. Part time applicants may be considered. This role will be appointed as Grade 4.
A Day in the Life
Every day brings variety and impact. You’ll oversee technician activities, manage stock levels, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You'll also monitor storage temperatures and respond to any excursions.
Throughout the day, you’ll lead audit processes, implement improvements based on findings, and manage patient experience surveys. You’ll support the aseptic compounding suite, oversee medication resuscitation box supply, and ensure distribution activities meet performance standards.

About You
You’re a proactive and organised leader with strong technical pharmacy skills and a passion for service improvement. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are confident managing multiple priorities. You bring experience in dispensary operations, stock control, and audit processes, and you’re committed to delivering safe and effective medication services.

Proven ability to coordinate pharmacy technician teams and services

Experience in managing stock, temperature monitoring, and medication recalls

Confidence in conducting and responding to audits and patient feedback
