About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Imaging team at Moorabbin Hospital.
- This is a permanent part-Time position
- 64 hours (0.8EFT) per fortnight across Monday to Friday
- Rotational roster (0830-1700 hrs). No weekends or public holidays. No on call required.
About Us:
Monash Imaging is Victoria’s largest public radiology provider dedicated to providing patient-focused services to the people of South East Melbourne and surrounding communities. Monash Imaging has hospital sites at Clayton, Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey and Kingston.
Monash Imaging Moorabbin provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to inpatients and outpatients. The department offers Interventional examinations, mammography, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET and Ultrasound services.
Moorabbin Hospital is home to the Monash Cancer Centre, offering partnerships with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Southern Melbourne Integrated Cancer Service and Breast Screen Victoria.
As a registered nurse you are required to assist patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures across all modalities. You will work collaboratively with all Monash Imaging staff to ensure comprehensive, safe, excellent and efficient service is provided to all consumers, visitors and staff members.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in acute nursing
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and be self-motivated.
- Strong commitment and ability to set standards of excellence in nursing within Monash Imaging.
- Proficient IV Cannulation Skills
- Previous experience in Radiology, Catheter Laboratory or Operating Theatres desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
- Interest in Women's Imaging
