Acute Rehabilitation Clinic at Casey Hospital, Berwick
The role includes assessment of patients with a wide range of rehabilitation conditions. Referrals are sourced either following an inpatient rehabilitation admission or from GPs or specialists in the wider community.
About the Role - Consultant Rehabilitation Physician
To provide assessment of patients with a wide range of rehabilitation conditions.
· Provide diagnostic and management assessments as well as facilitating access to appropriate community services or other specialist services.
· Accurate documentation in the electronic record and communication with relevant referrers.
· Contribute to the professional and corporate life in Victoria's largest public health service by participation in appropriate committees and educational platforms.
· Be available to medical colleagues for consultation and liaison as appropriate regarding patient care
· Teaching and supervision of a rehabilitation registrar and any attending medical students.
