About the Role:
Join our team as an Exercise Physiologist Grade 2 on a part-time, fixed-term basis (0.40 EFT / 30.4 hours per fortnight) parental leave cover until July 2026.
We’re thrilled to offer this opportunity within our sub acute Exercise Physiology team, based at Monash Health – Casey Hospital. With a varied caseload, including neurosciences, amputees and orthopaedic diagnoses. Where you will be responsible for the Exercise Physiology clinical services in the Subacute Inpatient setting.
You will deliver high-quality clinical services, working closely with the broader multidisciplinary teams on the subacute wards. Working within the large, progressive Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology team and will be supported by the wider Senior Monash Health Exercise Physiology team and the Head of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology.
You will be responsible for the supervision of Grade 1 Exercise Physiologists, as well as providing support to Allied Health Assistants and Exercise Physiology students. You will have the opportunity to contribute to broader Allied Health leadership and ward governance. In addition, you will contribute to leadership within the Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology department, with opportunities for different portfolios. Working closely with the operational Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Manager regarding service development and innovations.

As a member of the Allied Health team, you will be expected to work across multiple sites as needed.

Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Bachelor or Masters degree assessed as eligible for accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- Meets eligibility criteria to be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP
- Experience in the subacute rehabilitation setting
