About the Role:

Join our team as a Dietician Grade 3 on a part-time ongoing basis (0.90 EFT / 68.4 hours per fortnight). 

In this exciting and rewarding opportunity you will join our dynamic team, overseeing with a group of other Grade 3 and 4’s. Being an integral part of the Monash Health, Nutrition and Dietetics Senior Dietitian team. Based at our Casey Hospital campus, proving expertise and clinical leadership across all sites within the department.

 

In this respected, Senior Dietitian job shared position, you will be an inspiring leader that utilises your expert clinical knowledge to:

  • Champion the Dietetic profile and importance of nutrition care across Casey Hospital and the acute team
  • Establish strong relationships with Senior Medical, Nursing and Allied Health to optimise nutrition care for our patients
  • Empower the team to drive research and impactful quality improvement projects
  • Mentor Grade 1 and 2 Dietitians working in the department to achieve equitable patient-centred care
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to foster a positive team culture that thrives on growth, learning and accountability

About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Demonstrated experienced in the delivery of clinical education and clinical supervision
  • You enjoy developing others, are highly organised and a clear and warm communicator
  • Lead by example, thrive in a fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based dietetic interventions
  • Proven leadership experience that fosters a culture teamwork and continuous learning and development

 

Mandatory requirements of the role: 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in providing clinical care to acute +/or subacute inpatients preferred
  • Eligibility for full membership as a Dietitian of Dietitians Australia and Accredited
  • Practising APD membership
  • Relevant original or certified copies of qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Hold or are working towards post graduate qualifications
  • Current Drivers Licence
