Join Monash Imaging at Casey Hospital  

We are seeking Grade 1, Grade 2, and Nightshift Medical Imaging Technologists (Radiographers) to join our dynamic team, working across multiple modalities with state-of-the-art technology.  

Monash Imaging is seeking a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist (Radiographer) to join our rapidly growing workforce at Casey Hospital.  

You would be joining our general cohort of Medical Imaging Technologists who work across multiple modalities. Services at Casey Hospital include General X-ray, Theatre, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Angiography. We provide an imaging service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

The position is open to both newly graduated and experienced Radiographers who are looking to make a difference in a supportive and innovative environment.  

 

Monash Health Imaging   

Imaging at Monash Health incorporates a full range of services including CT, US, MRI, DEXA, PET, Nuclear Medicine, X-Ray, OPG, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Interventional and Therapeutic imaging services at the Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Kingston Centre and the Pakenham Health Centre. Imaging also supports the Monash University Biomedical Imaging site including MRI and PET MRI. 

The service provides over 365,000 imaging examinations per year across all sites, currently employs approximately 500 EFT and has a gross operating budget in excess of $100M. The Imaging program clearly defines its mission as the delivery of leading edge, evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services and research and education that meets the needs of our community and employees. Our proposed vision is to relentlessly pursue excellence and be a beacon within imaging and be the prime provider and destination of choice for our community, referrers, researchers, educational institutions, employees and students.   

  

About the Role and You  

You will be working as part of the Imaging team providing quality diagnostic imaging care to emergency, inpatients and outpatients. Your ability to succeed in this role will be maximized if you can demonstrate a high standard of general x-ray and CT capabilities. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Effective communication skills   
  • Ability to work solo and in a team environment   
  • Excellent radiographic skills with RIS/PACS experience is preferable
