About Us

Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-18 age group in the Southern Region, providing a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services.

We work with families to address a number of complex issues they may be experiencing, including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neuro developmental presentations and psychosis.

We also work collaboratively with families, schools and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.

About You

Seeking to grow our dedicated and knowledgeable team, we are looking for you to bring your demonstrated skills and experience in case management and assessment, working with children and families within a multidisciplinary team.
