About the Role:
Casey Hospital Radiology is excited to announce an opportunity for a Computed Tomography (CT) Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of a cross‑functional team of imaging professionals, contributing to the throughput, efficiency, and overall service delivery of the CT department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and transporting outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients to and from the Medical Imaging Department
- Providing high‑quality patient care
- Maintaining excellent infection control practices in line with Monash Health policies
- Supporting the efficient workflow of CT imaging services
The ideal candidate will be competent, proactive, and capable of meeting the dynamic demands of a high‑volume and expanding CT service.
This position offers 16 hours per fortnight, consisting of a shift every Friday. This is a fixed term opportunity until 29 March 2027.
About Monash Health Radiology
Monash Health Radiology incorporates a full range of services including CT, US, MRI, DEXA, PET, Nuclear Medicine, X-Ray, OPG, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Interventional and Therapeutic imaging services at the Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Kingston Centre and the Pakenham Health Centre. Monash Health Radiology also supports the Monash University Biomedical Imaging site including MRI and PET MRI. The service provides over 365,000 imaging examinations per year across all sites, currently employs approximately 500 EFT and has a gross operating budget in excess of $100M.
The Radiology program clearly defines its mission as the delivery of leading edge, evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services and research and education that meets the needs of our community and employees. Our proposed vision is to relentlessly pursue excellence and be a beacon within imaging and be the prime provider and destination of choice for our community, referrers, researchers, educational institutions, employees and students.

What you need:
- Relevant qualifications. i.e. - Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
- All candidates require Australian working rights.
