About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician Team Leader to join our dynamic team across Casey Hospital, Cranbourne and Pakenham Hospitals. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of the dispensary services, ensuring timely, accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate stock management, and drive continuous improvement through audit completion and implementation of responsive actions. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery.
This is full time, ongoing position. Part time applicants may be considered. This role will be appointed as Grade 4.
Every day brings variety and impact. You will oversee technician activities, manage stock control, monitor medication storage conditions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will lead audits, respond to medication recalls, and support PBS claims and billing enquiries. Your leadership will ensure smooth weekend, late shift and public holiday services. You will also contribute to improving patient experience through survey coordination and responsive service enhancements.

About You
You are a proactive and organised leader with a strong background in pharmacy technician practice. You bring experience in dispensary operations, stock management, and team supervision. You’re confident in coordinating audits, implementing improvements, and supporting financial processes. Your collaborative approach and attention to detail ensure high-quality service delivery. You’re passionate about mentoring others and committed to enhancing patient care through efficient and safe medication supply.
