About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a psychologist to join the multi-disciplinary team at Narre Warren APARCS, a community residential recovery service run in partnership with Wellways. APARCS is a short-term program for consumers who would benefit from mental health support with a focus on recovery; the average length of stay being 7-14 days, with a maximum stay of 28 days. The successful applicant will have an active caseload, providing psychological services in line with the consumer's identified recovery goals. They will utilise their specilaist skills to provide individual and group based interventions, with a focus on trauma informed care and recovery principles. The psychologist will assist with diagnostic clarification, formulation and treament planning, and offer a psychological perspective to the treating team and other relevant stakeholders.
