Join our team as a Registered Midwife on a part time fixed term basis to work at Casey Hospital
About the Role
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Midwives to join our dynamic team at Casey Hospital, part of Monash Health – Victoria’s largest public health service.
As a midwife, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, woman-centred care across the full continuum of maternity services – from antenatal to postnatal and birthing. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care for women and their families.
You’ll be rostered to work across all shifts in a supportive, fast-paced, and rewarding environment that encourages continuous professional development and excellence in care.

Casey Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility located in Melbourne’s booming southeast corridor. As part of Monash Health, we provide a full range of maternity services to a diverse and growing community.
Monash Women’s at Casey delivers over 3,500 babies annually and offers comprehensive midwifery care, including birthing suites, antenatal clinics, and postnatal services. Our focus is on delivering safe, high-quality care in a supportive, collaborative environment that values respect, integrity, and teamwork.
About You
You are a registered midwife who is passionate about supporting women and families through every stage of their maternity journey. You bring clinical competence, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to your practice.
You will also have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
- Recent clinical experience in a maternity setting (antenatal, intrapartum, and/or postnatal)
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing woman-centred, culturally safe care
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster (including nights and weekends)
