About the Role

Express interest as a Midwifery Clinical Coach in a part time basis to work at Casey Hospital 

The role of the Clinical Coach/Clinical Support Nurse/Midwife (CC/CSN) entails offering clinical guidance and support to Nurses and Midwives throughout Monash Health. This position is supplementary and does not involve managing a clinical caseload. The (CC/CSN) ensures that nurses and midwives at Monash Health deliver safe, effective, and person-centered care by: 

  • Advocating for evidence-based nursing/midwifery practices across various settings. 
  • Assisting in ongoing professional development. 
  • Providing clinical supervision. 
  • Supporting formal educational initiatives. 
  • Encouraging nursing and midwifery research. 
  • Collaborating with patients/clients and multidisciplinary teams to achieve health goals and outcomes. 
  • Practicing autonomously and cooperatively, while being accountable for individual actions.

About You

Aside from a passion and commitment to women centred care, to ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge: 

  • Evidence of appropriate completion of competencies 
  • Relevant experience demonstrating the appropriate competencies and skills 
  • Post graduate qualification in education / relevant clinical specialty area 
  • Outstanding communication and time management skills coupled with delivering evidence based holistic patient centred care
