About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Grade 3 Social Worker to join our Casey Intensive Care Package (ICP) Team on a part-time (0.6 EFT), ongoing basis.
In this dynamic role, you’ll provide assertive, community-based mental health assessment and treatment for consumers within the Casey Adult Mental Health Services catchment area, currently connected with the Pakenham Continuing Care Team (CCT).
You’ll work collaboratively within a skilled multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Dual Diagnosis Clinicians, Peer Workers, and Art Therapists, as well as the consumer’s existing treating team.

The Casey ICP Team is a highly specialised, multidisciplinary team designed to support consumers with complex mental health needs. We provide care aligned with the Intensive Community Mental Health Packages guidelines from the Victorian Department of Health.
Operating in the Casey/Cardinia region, we offer enhanced support for individuals who need more than traditional case management can provide. Our approach includes both 1:1 therapy and group programs, focusing on skill-building, recovery, and engagement in meaningful activities.

About you
We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker (minimum of 7 years post-graduate) with:
- Strong assessment and intervention planning skills
- A commitment to collaborative, recovery-focused care
- Experience working with individuals who have frequent acute service contact
- The ability to engage with carers and service providers to co-develop comprehensive, individualised care plans
You will play a key role in supporting consumers and their treating teams to identify recovery goals and implement meaningful, sustainable interventions.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master of Social Work (Qualifying), or equivalent as assessed by the AASW
- Eligibility for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- AASW verification for overseas qualifications (if applicable)
- AASW-recognised Accredited Social Worker and/or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (completed or in progress)
