About the Role

Join our team as an administration officer on a full time (Mon – Fri 08:30 – 4:30), (part time also available for the right candidate), ongoing to work at the Specialist Clinics Kingston based at Cheltenham. 

  • Day-to-day administrative responsibilities. 

  • Contribute equitably to the administrative workload of the Clinics. 

  • Maintain local appointment booking systems to ensure clients’ appointments times are optimised and waiting times for service kept to a minimum across Kingston and other sites. 

  • Manage and maintain data/reporting as requested by manager (using HMS/Harrison and iPM), in line with governing body requirements.

The Specialist Clinics, sit within Monash Health Community, and includes the following clinics: 

  • Cognitive Dementia & Memory Service 

  • Continence 

  • Falls & Balance Clinic 

  • Movement Disorders Program 

  • Chronic Pain 

  • Young Adults Transition Service 

  • Acute Rehabilitation 

  • Urodynamics 

  

About You

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge.

Skills / experience / attitude:

  • Computer literacy 

  • Prior experience a similar role within the medical field 

  • Can do attitude / Work as an effective team member, considering the needs of others in your team, working towards common goal 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Be able to work in a faced passed environment 

  • Adapt well to change and innovation 

  • Ability to identify quality and process improvement opportunity 

Mandatory requirements of the role:

  • Drivers licence 

  • Working with Children Check / Police check
