Welcome to Boollam Boollam Aged Care Centre
Nestled within the leafy grounds of the Kingston Centre in Heatherton, the Boollam Boollam Aged Care Centre offers a state-of-the-art, purpose-built centre that is dedicated to comfort, dignity, and excellence in aged care. With 150 beds across four thoughtfully designed floors consisting of 15 bed houses, our modern infrastructure supports a warm, home-like environment—tailored to meet the unique needs of every resident.
The home is supported by a diverse team of nursing professionals including Nursing Coordinators, Nurse Managers, Associate Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses, Graduate Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Healthcare Workers who all work collaboratively with our Nurse Managers and Facility Manager.
With the centre scheduled to open in late 2025, we are currently recruiting for Enrolled Nurses with both Full Time and Part Time Ongoing positions available.

About the Role
Reporting to the Nurse Manager and the Associate Nurse Managers (ANM) you will be responsible for the provision of high quality and holistic residential centred care.
With a strong team focus on safe, high-quality, and timely care, we offer a Residential Care setting that combines clinical excellence with compassion, innovation, and genuine connection.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care within your scope of practice, working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, the multidisciplinary team, residents, and their families. You’ll demonstrate clinical proficiency, a commitment to evidence-based care, and uphold the Monash Health Nursing and Midwifery Foundations of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in accordance with professional guidelines and your scope of practice
- Collaborate with the RN and care team to contribute to and implement individualised care plans
- Perform clinical and technical tasks with confidence and competence
- Monitor residents’ health, respond to changes, and escalate concerns promptly
- Act appropriately in emergency situations, following established procedures
- Support residents’ personal care, mobility, and nutritional needs
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, colleagues, and external providers
About You
You are a qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurse with a background in aged care and/or mental health. Your compassionate nature and commitment to improving the quality of life for residents define your approach to care and help give our residents a reason to smile and thrive each day.
You are driven by a strong work ethic, professionalism, a deep sense of responsibility, and you're ready to contribute to our growing care team.
On a personal level, you possess:
- Valid NDIS Clearance and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (essential)
- Valid police check clearance including a renewal every 3 years (essential)
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (essential)
- Experience in Aged Care (essential)
- Exposure to Mental Health Nursing (desirable)
- Commitment to safe, best-practice care and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, team-oriented, and compassionate approach
- Passionate about person-centred care and resident advocacy
