About Us - Community Rehabilitation 

Community Rehabilitation offers client-centred, goal driven rehabilitation services to maximise a client’s independence, health and well-being following acute illness or injury. Community Rehabilitation consists of large interdisciplinary teams that work with the client to achieve their rehabilitation goals and provide home and centre based therapy.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Grade 2 Dietitian for a Part Time, Fixed Term period ending 31 December 2025. This position is based within the Kingston Community Rehabilitation Team, with travel to other Monash Health sites as required.

A Day in the Life:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Community Rehabilitation team in a fixed term part time Grade 2 capacity.  You will be working in a variety of specialties including (but not limited to): Neurological, Pulmonary, Cardiac and General Rehabilitation. With such a diverse range of clients, no two days will be the same! You will work alongside our experienced and highly skilled Dietitians as well as the wider interdisciplinary team. 

 

You will work collaboratively with a fantastic group of people who are inclusive, passionate and share a vision to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families.

What you need:

  • Hold a Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process.
  • Eligible for DA membership and Accredited practicing Dietitian (APD) status.
  • Significant relevant professional experience working with adults in a rehabilitation or community setting
