About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated Grade 3 Occupational Therapist to join our supportive Kingston Centre Sub-Acute Occupational Therapy team on a permanent full-time basis. This is also a great opportunity for an experienced Grade 2 looking to step into a leadership position as the role is well supported by multiple Grade 4 specialist leads. Your developed skills in leadership, team collaboration and communication, patient and service advocacy and team processes and procedures will be well utilised and applied in this role. The purpose of the position is to;
- To lead best practice in Occupational Therapy and sub-acute services.
- To develop individuals and teams within the Occupational Therapy, Allied Health and Rehabilitation.
- To be a clinical expert in sub-acute Occupational Therapy practice, demonstrating a high level of clinical knowledge and skills.
About You:
We are looking for a passionate individual, with a focus on personal and professional improvement and a desire for leading and developing staff. The successful candidate will display:
- Passion for enhancing patient experiences and facilitation of person-centred care
- An aptitude for on-going learning and personal professional development as well as teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in evidence-based practice and clinical inquiry
- Current practicing Occupational Therapy AHPRA registration and Victorian driver’s license is a mandatory requirement for this role.
