About the role:
Monash Health has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a talented Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) to share their skills in disability and young people to thrive. This unique role will afford a skilled Grade 3 OT to join the Young Adults Transition Service (YATS) based in Specialist Clinics at Kingston Centre, in Melbourne's Southeast. Working with 17-25 year olds with neurodevelopmental disability, and their families, you will support healthcare transition goals as both an OT and transition lead/'key worker'.
You will also be part of the wider Monash Health Occupational Therapy service and leadership team, with access to all the benefits that offers including genuine career progression pathways, professional development and connection with a highly skilled and well networked team. About us:
YATS provides a coordinated transition service for adolescents and young adults with complex physical disabilities and/or complex medical needs. Our team assists with the successful transition of clients from paediatric services to adult-oriented health care systems. As a senior OT, you will provide specialised occupational therapy assessments through an in-depth understanding of the physical, functional, and occupational needs of a range of clients who have complex neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions. You will work with the YATS multidisciplinary team to support clients through their transition journey.

About you:

This permanent part-time role would suit an established senior Occupational Therapist or experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist with relevant disability and/or neurological experience. We will offer you guidance and support in your role.
What you need:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapist) or equivalent.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
