About the Role:
Monash Health's Central Production Kitchen (CPK) operates three kitchens: two at The Kingston Centre, Cheltenham and one at Moorabbin Hospital.
Working as part of the Food Services team, the main focus for the team is delivering an exceptional patient meal experience. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Manage all meal orders in a timely manner,
-
Manage the invoicing
-
Deliver, distribute and collect all reports
-
Ensure all Department of Health Food Service standards are achieved.

Report and maintain the menu management system
-
Completion of food safety documentation in a timely manner
Positions Available:
We are currently recruiting for an ongoing Menu Administrator position at Kingston Centre, Cheltenham with 20 hours a fortnight.
About Us:
We take pride in providing food and nutrition to our patients and consumers. We are innovative, proactive and always looking to improve. Being part of the broader Support Services team we are responsible for a range of essential non-clinical services that help our hospitals run. We provide food services, Central Production Kitchen, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.
About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

Current Food Safety qualification (essential)
-
Relevant food services certificate (minimum SITXFSA001 – Use hygienic practices for food safety) (essential)

Knowledge of Menu Management Sytsem
-
Qualification in HACCP procedures and quality management systems (essential)
-
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
-
Ability to work proactively with a cohesive team and on your own to complete daily tasks
-
Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
-
Takes pride in your work with attention to detail
-
A strong understanding of food safety
-
Ability to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
-
High level of computer skills
-
Certificate IV in Hospitality (desirable)
-
A high standard of demonstrated experience in customer services and/or food services from a health or hospitality environment (desirable)
