About the Department of Anaesthesia
Our department is a culturally diverse, family friendly group focused on delivering quality anaesthesia to the community has increasing interest in participating in clinical research offers a number of exciting opportunities, with exposure to both elective and emergency case load.
About the Role
The successful candidate:

will report to the Director of Anaesthesia

will operate in a team-based environment, and is expected to exhibit good communication skills

should be aligned with the broader goals of advancing the interests of the department.

will participate in the Department's internal audit and Quality and Safety programs
About You
Mandatory requirements of the role:
-
Medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
-
Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
-
Working with Children's Certificate
-
Current Drivers Licence
-

Six-month anaesthesia registrar positions are available at Monash Health from August 4th 2025 to February 1st 2026.
Applicants must be registered with the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) or equivalent anaesthetic college. Applicants must have completed at least one year of accredited anaesthetic training.
Rotations may include: Monash Medical Centre Clayton / Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH) and Dandenong Hospital.
