About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Monash Women's team as a Provisional O&G Registrar.
6-month full time maternity leave position available commencing Monday 4th Augusts 2025 to 1st February 2026
7-month full time maternity leave position available commencing Monday 23rd June 2025 to 1st February 2026
10-month full time maternity leave position available commencing Monday 14th April 2025 to 1st February 2026
7-month full time maternity leave position available commencing Monday 7th July 2025 to 1st February 2026
This position offers a unique opportunity for doctors intending to apply for the RANZCOG Training Program or SIMG FRANZCOG pathway. Successful candidates will be offered a structured and broad range of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology ensuring that they are competitively placed for future FRANZCOG training applications.
This position offers opportunity to develop procedural skills such as instrumental births and caesarean section as well as supervision of the birth suite and minor gynaecology operating.
About the Unit
The Obstetrics & Gynaecology Unit is the largest provider of women’s health services in Victoria. In 2023, Monash Health cared for nearly 10,000 births, and it’s forecasted to increase further. Monash Health is a recognised academic leader in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with outstanding opportunities for basic and clinical research. About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Working with Children's Certificate
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Current Drivers Licence
- All candidates will require Australian working rights.
