About the Role
This position is open for any PGY3+ doctor who is planning a career in ED, or considering a move to ED, as well as those who require time in ED as part of an application for another training program. Monash is Victoria’s Largest Healthcare provider, delivering care to one-quarter of Melbourne’s population across the entire lifespan. We are accredited for all aspects of FACEM training.
The Monash Emergency Experience:

Tertiary Emergency at Monash Medical Centre (Adults)
-
Mixed Emergency Departments at Dandenong and Casey with on-site ICU and Anaesthetics
-
The Victorian Heart Hospital Emergency Department Adult Cardiac Emergency
Training opportunities:
-
Complete 6 month rotations in one of our ED, meeting eligibility criteria for ACEM application
-
Undertake the ED Associateship program through one of our departments
-
Train in Point of Care Ultrasound through our free in-house program

Meet requirements for RACGP application in our accredited ED

About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications

Working with Children's Certificate
