About the Role   

Monash Health has an outstanding training program for trainees in Geriatric Medicine. We are committed to providing high-quality patient care and supporting your development as a future Geriatrician. Monash Health has Advanced Training positions in Geriatric Medicine across 5 acute and subacute campuses and in the community, providing a diversity of clinical experience. Trainees have access to an extensive education program with dedicated support for research projects and additional opportunities to enhance their personal and professional growth. Please note full-time positions are subject to a centralised match process conducted by the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV).  

 

About You

What you need:   

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).   

  • Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications.   

  • Working with Children's Certificate   

  • Be eligible for Advanced training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)

Important Information to Note:  

Offers of employment can only be made once all required probity checks have been completed. These include:   

  • reference checks   

  • a clear Police Check conducted within the last three months   

  • a current Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check (or proof of payment for same)   

  • proof of immunisation  

   

Referee Request:     

You will be asked to provide three referees as part of your PMCV registration for the RACP ATSM (advanced trainee selection matching) service (ie centralised match). Monash Health will not require separate referee reports.   

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure your referees complete their submissions before the PMCV application deadline. Reference responses will be considered as part of your application.
