This opportunity is available to applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and are available to commence on 28 September 2026 (Nursing/Midwifery) and 2nd November (Mental Health)
Applicants must have been eligible for the PMCV 2026 Graduate Program and, to date, have been unsuccessful in securing a match with a health service.
About You:
To be eligible for 2026 Graduate Program positions candidates must:
- Be registered as a RN/RM with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Completed course requirements between 1 January 2025 and 30 June 2026

Have the right to work in Australia without requiring sponsorship
-
Have trained in Australia or New Zealand
-
Have not previously matched to another Graduate Program through PMCV
-
If you have completed a nursing graduate program and are now studying midwifery, you may only apply for midwifery positions.

About the Role:
The Monash Health Graduate Program takes pride in providing our Graduates with excellent opportunities to consolidate their skills, broaden their clinical experience and develop their careers in healthcare.
Graduates undertake a structured 12-month program with the following rotations:
Nursing: Two rotations
Midwifery: Four rotations, including two birth suite and two antenatal/postnatal rotations
Double Degree Nursing & Midwifery: Four rotations, including two birth suite rotations, one antenatal/postnatal rotation, and one nursing rotation
Offer of Employment:
Offers of employment are subject to satisfactory completion of the following probity checks prior to commencement:

Submission of a valid ‘Employee’ Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Completion of a Fit2Work police check conducted within three months of the contract commencement date

Submission of proof of immunisation
-
Confirmed registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife
-
Evidence of a valid Visa allowing full working rights with no restrictions (if not an Australian citizen or permanent resident)
