About Infectious Diseases/Microbiology
Monash Infectious Diseases provides services for patients with infections across all major campuses at Monash Health. Additionally, we operate the antimicrobial stewardship program, and in the near future, outreach services to support Bass Coast Health. Inpatient activity includes an inpatient unit (based at the Clayton campus), consulting services (Clayton, the Victorian Heart Hospital, Dandenong, Casey, Kingston and Moorabbin) and specialist consulting (infections and immunity as a key support service for transplant and rheumatology; and intensive care liaison for all four major units). Major specialist clinic services include HIV medicine (with a cohort of more than 400 patients); tuberculosis and other mycobacteria (we care for about 10% of all patients with tuberculosis in Australia); infections and immunity (immunocompromised patients), travel medicine and general ID clinics.
About You
Infectious Diseases Fellow: aimed at infectious diseases advanced trainees or physicians starting their career as infectious diseases physicians who wish to obtain additional clinical, research and administrative roles prior to becoming senior medical staff.

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications

Working with Children's Certificate

Current Drivers Licence
