About the Role  

Team consisting of multidisciplinary staff including: Monash Medical Centre Monash Lung, Sleep, Allergy and Immunology (MLSAI) Unaccredited Advanced Trainee Lung and Sleep Medicine Team consisting of multidisciplinary staff including:  

• Consultant  

• Senior registrar  

• Junior Registrar  

• Resident  

• Physiotherapist  

• Nurse CNC’s  

• Pharmacist  

6 ward consultants, with >20 VMO part time.  

Subspecialty programs include:  

• Ultrasound  

• Provision of lung US within the unit  

• Research  

• Education  - active JMS programs and part 1 and 2 CICM preparation  

• Infection prevention  

• Specialty liaison with Cardiothoracic surgery, Neurosurgery, Infectious diseases, Anaesthesia and Emergency  

• Sleep services  

• Cystic Fibrosis services  

• Lung Cancer services  

• Allergy services  

• Pulmonary Laboratory  

• Outpatient services  

Patient exposure:  

• Ward service with High Dependency Unit (HDU)  

• Outpatient Department > 20,000 appointments per year  

• Speciality units  

• FFB  

• Ultra Sound  

• Pleural clinic  

• Pulmonary Laboratory reporting.  

About You

What you need:  

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)  

• Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications  

• Working with Children's Certificate (Employee) 

• Current Drivers Licence   

• All candidates will require Australian working rights   

• At least 2 reference checks (see below)
