We provide high-volume exposure to complex uro-oncology and stone surgery alongside a broad spectrum of general urology for both adult and paediatric patients

   About You
You are a motivated and capable registrar with a strong interest in Urology and commitment to patient-centred care. You are preparing for SET training and looking to consolidate your clinical, operative and academic experience in a high-volume, supportive environment

 

You will have:

  • minimum of 12 months’ experience in urology-specific roles at resident level or above.
  • Demonstrated commitment to pursuing Urology SET
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Assessment and management of urology patients under consultant supervision
  • Coordination of inpatient and outpatient care
  • Communication with patients and their families
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Supervision and teaching of interns and HMOs
  • Involvement in medical student teaching
  • Contribution to clinical leadership and service improvement initiatives

 

Essential Requirements

  • Registration with AHPRA (eligible for Level 3 supervision)
  • Experience in core urological procedures (ureteric stenting desirable)
  • Strong clinical, organisational and communication skills
