About Dental Services  

We provide general dentistry service across 8 sites, (Springvale, Dandenong, Cranbourne and Berwick, in addition to satellite sites at David St and Pakenham), in total 32 dental chairs and about 130 dental staff, we provide service; emergency and general and denture appointments for 28000 clients a year.  

In addition to our core service, we do Research (clinical trial in aged care), Conference twice a year, follow with new technology, Health promotion, outreach clinic, specialist services, and Graduate program.  

  

About the Role    

The Intern position is for a competent Graduate Dental Practitioner or Dental Practitioner, who is responsible for the provision of general clinical dental duties within the scope of practice. In this position you will be required to work in partnership with the Mentors/Clinical Supervisors and Dental team in all facets of general dentistry. The position will provide you with an outstanding opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a safe, supportive and progressive team environment. The Intern Dentist will need to meet performance expectation.  

 

About You

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:   

  • Competent Graduate Dental Practitioner or Dental Practictioner  

Mandatory requirements of the role:   

  • Primary medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent    

  • All candidates will require Australian working rights  

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)   

  • Employee Working with Children's Check   

  • Radiation Use License / Current operator License of Dental Xray equipment
