About the Role 

Twelve-month full-time equivalent Provisional O&G Registrar positions available commencing Monday 1st February 2027 to 6th February 2028, rotating through the Monash Women’s sites, as well as our teaching partnering hospitals in regional Victoria and the private sector. 

This position offers a unique opportunity for doctors intending to apply for the RANZCOG Training Program or SIMG FRANZCOG pathway. Successful candidates will be offered a structured and broad range of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology ensuring that they are competitively placed for future FRANZCOG training applications.  

This position offers opportunity to develop procedural skills such as instrumental births and caesarean section as well as supervision of the birth suite and minor gynaecology operating. 

As part of this position, successful applicants will be assisted in preparing their application for college training and interview. 

 

About You:

Mandatory requirements of the role: 

  • Primary medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent 

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 

  • Employee Working with Children's Check 

  • Current Drivers Licence  

  • All candidates will require Australian working rights.
