About the Role  
The role includes participation in the multi-disciplinary Kingston Centre Pain Management Clinic, Acute Pain Services at Monash Health sites, inpatient consults at Kingston Centre, interventional pain procedures and regular attendance at the Gynae-Pain and Onco-Pain Clinics. This role may be accredited toward Core training stage in the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM) training program (FFPMANZCA). 

  

About You  
This position is suitable for training towards Pain Medicine specialization, applicants should be consultant in their primary specialty, such as Anaesthetics, Rehabilitation Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry, Medicine, Surgery;  or nearing completion of their primary training program. This position is not suitable for a junior HMO. 

You enjoy the managing and interacting patients with complex pain issues in a socio-psycho-biomedical framework. 

 Full time or part time/job share appointment will be considered for candidates with suitable attributes, training and experience.  

 

What you need:  

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)  

  • Full medical registration with APHRA 

  • Fellowship of a college or faculty of an Australian postgraduate medical college or evidence of near completion of all the Fellowship requirements 

  • Working with Children's Certificate  

  • Valid motor vehicle license and access to reliable transport
