About Research Support Services 

Research Support Services (RSS) located in the Research Strategy Program, is the central human research administration office for all human research projects conducted at Monash Health and its Monash Health Translation Precinct partners, including Monash Health Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs) and provides research support functions to develop Monash Health’s research capabilities and research profile. RSS is responsible for the review, approval, monitoring and governance of Monash Health human ethics and research. RSS currently monitors around 800 new and 1800 ongoing human research projects each year.  Monash Health also provides a HREC Review Only service to external organisations. 

The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Monash Health HRECs and invoicing of ethics and governance fees for the RSS team.
