About Us
Monash Audiology provides comprehensive diagnostic audiological assessments for paediatric and adult patients across Monash Health sites in South Eastern Melbourne and Victoria. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care and support to patients and their families.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Administrative Secretary to join our dynamic team. This role is based primarily at Monash Audiology – Moorabbin, Clayton, and Cranbourne Community Hospital, with occasional support across other Monash Health sites.
As an integral part of our service, you will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Scheduling patient appointments and managing arrivals/departures

Updating patient details in the Patient Administration System (iPM)
-
Handling telephone enquiries and preparing reports
-
Processing orders via IPROC and assisting with general administrative tasks
-
Supporting medical and administration staff as required
Healthcare administration is fast-paced, and our secretaries play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and families.
About You
We are looking for a proactive, organised individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team. You will demonstrate:

Previous experience in an administration environment
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows applications
-
Experience with iPM & SMR systems (highly desirable)
-
Familiarity with Medilink Professional appointment system (desirable)
-
Ability to process revenue and perform daily banking reconciliation
-
Knowledge of IPROC and PBRC systems
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
-
Fundamental medical terminology knowledge (desirable)
-
Attention to detail and accuracy in clerical tasks
