About the Emergency Department at Monash Medical Centre Clayton 

If you enjoy working in a supportive, dynamic, evolving environment, with a wide diversity of patients then Monash Medical Centre’s Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments is the place for you. The departments are co-located, with some shared facilities. Administration staffing is combined between the two departments, whereas medical and nursing staff is separate.

About the Role 

An exciting opportunity exists for someone to work in the Emergency Department Administration Assistant role for a 6 month period commencing June 24 2026.  The role supports the ED leadership team and other ED staff to deliver excellent and timely emergency care, by assisting in the administration of calendar management, meeting minuting, rostering and timesheets. The position is based in the Emergency Department offices, and is not directly patient facing. 

 

About You

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge: 

  • At least three years general administration &/or secretarial experience
  • Ideally a Certificate or Diploma in related discipline 

 

Mandatory requirements of the role: 

  • Current and satisfactory police check
  • Working with children check
  • All candidates will require Australian working rights.
  • Applicants not yet registered to work in Australia must have passed an approved English language test
