About the Role


Join our team as an Administration Officer Lead in an ongoing opportunity based at Monash Women’s Amber Team at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton.

In this important role, you will provide excellent administrative, secretarial, and receptionist support for the day-to-day activities of the Amber Team. You will also provide clerical and organizational support for the sub-teams within Amber at Clayton, including high-quality customer service for patients presenting to the service.

 

There are a number of opportunities available as outlined below.

To ensure administration coverage to support the service, you would be required to work 8.5 hours across all of these opportunities.

 

  • Shift (08:00-16:30)
    Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs / Fri and public holidays

 

  • Shift (09:00-17:30)
    Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs / Fri

 

Full-time opportunities available.

About Amber Team


We are a multi-unit team consisting of ADAPPT, Fetal Diagnostic Unit, Fetal Surveillance, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. The Amber Team runs maternity clinics and surveillance services 7 days a week. We provide a comprehensive range of maternity care and diagnostic services for the rapidly growing communities of Melbourne’s Southeast. We work in conjunction with our Sandringham, Casey, and Dandenong Women’s Health teams.

 

About You


You are a proactive and experienced healthcare administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have strong administrative and organizational skills and are accustomed to working in a hospital environment. You also have friendly and helpful customer service and communication skills. To ensure your success in this role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge:

 

  • Proven healthcare administration experience
  • Familiarity with iPM, KRONOS, EMR, RIS/PACS, Oracle (advantageous)
  • Ideally, you are familiar with the setup and function of an outpatient unit
  • Friendly, customer service-driven individual with exceptional, effective communication skills
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work autonomously and multitask in a busy environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Experience with Medicare compliance and Billing
  • Previous administrative experience in the specialty of Maternity is highly desirable
