About Us 

Ward 4A Canopy is a dedicated 16‑bed inpatient unit providing high-quality, family-centred care for children requiring medical, cardiac, and respiratory support. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the ward supports both unplanned admissions through the Emergency Department and planned admissions from outpatient services where clinically appropriate, ensuring timely access to care and efficient use of inpatient capacity. 

 

Our experienced nursing team delivers specialised paediatric care, working closely with medical and allied health professionals to support each child’s individual needs. Clear admission processes and well-established escalation pathways enable smooth coordination with the Emergency Department and other inpatient units, promoting safe, efficient patient flow.

About the Role  

Join our team as an Administration Worker - Ward Clerk (HS1) part time Fridays and Saturdays to work at 4A Canopy based at Monash Children’s Hospital Clayton.  In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the nurse managers and working with the broader ward team.

  

About You  

To be successful in this healthcare role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and attributes:  

  • Hospital Admin experience 
  • Health care knowledge 
  • Good communication skills
