About the Role

 

Join Monash Health as an Administration Assistant on a part-time, permanent basis (2 days per week) as rostered, supporting our Pharmacy Department across multiple Monash Health sites. This role is integral to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery within Victoria’s largest public health service.

You’ll provide efficient and reliable administrative support to the Pharmacy Leadership Team and staff, helping maintain high standards of care and operational excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and contributing to a high-performing healthcare environment.

 

What Your Day Might Look Like

 

  • Provide administrative support to Pharmacy leadership and clinical teams
  • Manage meeting coordination, room bookings, and minute-taking
  • Assist with rostering, data entry, and maintaining IT asset registers
  • Respond to enquiries and provide professional, courteous assistance to staff and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records for rotations, mandatory training, and compliance
  • Support ad hoc administrative tasks and cover for team members during leave

About You

 

You’re an organised, proactive professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence. You thrive in a busy environment and enjoy supporting a team that makes a real difference in patient care.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

 

  • Extensive experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable 
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable
