Revenue Services Administration Officer

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated Revenue Services Administration Officer to join our Cardiac Ambulatory Services team at the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH). In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely billing and revenue processes while providing exceptional customer service to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

As a critical team member, you’ll support the billing, invoicing, and Medicare processing for MBS outpatient clinics, cardiac tests, and procedures across multiple Monash Health sites. Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks will help ensure a seamless experience for patients and the financial integrity of our services.

About You

You are a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional with experience in healthcare administration, billing, or revenue services. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively to improve processes and patient experiences.

Key skills & experience:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration, finance, or revenue services
  • Knowledge of Medical Benefits Schedule (MBS) billing & compliance
  • Strong customer service & communication skills
  • Proficiency in hospital systems (e.g., EMR, iPM, HealthTrack) or willingness to learn
  • Ability to prioritise tasks & meet deadlines

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with accounts/finance
  • Knowledge of Victorian public hospital billing policies
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
