Play a vital role in supporting the planning, development, and delivery of prevention and health promotion initiatives across Melbourne’s South East.

 

About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Program Administration Support Officer on a part-time / full-time, ongoing basis with the South East Public Health Unit (SEPHU), part of Monash Health, based in Mulgrave.

 

In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality, proactive administrative support to SEPHU’s Population Health and Partnerships and Health Promotion teams. These teams lead the design, implementation, and coordination of evidence-based initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing inequities across our region.

 

Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes, and governance documentation

• Managing stakeholder data, communications, and digital platforms such as SharePoint and the SRM system

• Supporting reporting processes, compliance tracking, recruitment, onboarding, and event logistics

 

Some travel to other Monash Health sites may be required.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

• Experience providing administrative support in a health, community, or government setting

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, digital platforms, and stakeholder databases

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally across all levels

• Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and quality in documentation and reporting

 

Mandatory requirements:
• Certificate or Diploma-level qualification in business administration, office management, or relevant experience

• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence (desirable)
