About the Role
The inventory assistant theatres will be responsible for the coordination and management of general stock and related equipment within the operating suite.
This includes but not limited to stock quantity management, follow up on outstanding ordering issues, specialised item ordering, annual stock management and maintenance of inventory lists and electronic files. The role may also require report management and keeping in line with assisting the NM with budget management. There are 2 positions available full time and/or part time, one position is permanent and the other is temporary for a period of 6 months.
Dandenong Hospital has 8 Operating Theatres and caters for wide variety of surgical specialities including orthopaedics, plastic, ENT, Maxillofacial, Obstetrics and gynaecology, colorectal and general procedure. This is a busy trauma theatre department provides 24/7 specialised patient care.

With co-located medical and post-surgical wards, we support our patients through their stay at Monash Health.

About You:
- Customer service and data entry experience in a health industry.
- Previous experience in the coordination and management of inventory is desirable but not mandatory
- Highly organised, flexible and adaptable
- Well-developed computer skills
- Tertiary or other administration qualification with extensive administrative experience or other relevant experience in an acute hospital setting
