Cranbourne Community Hospital – Ophthalmology Clinic

Cranbourne Community Hospital is a brand new purpose built Hospital situated in the growth corridor of South East Melbourne. The Ophthalmology Outpatients Clinic is on track to open 27th January 2026; currently the clinic is located at Monash Health Clayton campus. We are a supportive and collaborative team who provide exceptional care to all of our patients.
About the Role
Working as part of the team at the Cranbourne Community Hospital Ophthalmology Clinic you will be integral in providing high quality care to our patients. The administrative role primarily focusses on admitting and discharging patients to outpatient clinic but will include working alongside other internal departments such as Day Surgery Unit and Elective Surgeries Services. The team prides itself on ensuring each of our patients receives individual and specialised care, leading to overwhelming positive patient feedback.

Clinic Operation hours are Monday-Friday, rotating roster.

No weekends or public holidays.
About You
You enjoy a fast paced environment where you will undertake predominantly Reception and Registration/Admission work. You:

Have strong organisational skills and ability to work well in a team

Enjoy multi-tasking, prioritising and working to firm timeframes
-
Have an impeccable phone manner and customer service attitude
-
Advanced computer skills including experience with iPM
-
Willingness and ability to become proficient in EMR, SMR, Ereferral, Htrack, & Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel
