Our Journey:
Allied Health Assistants at Monash Health are an integral part of the wider Allied Health and ward multidisciplinary team. We are offering a full time fixed term position for a Grade 3 Multi-disciplinary AHA looking to pursue their passion in acute general medical care.
Monash Health Allied Health provide an integrated and inter-professional service providing the highest quality patient centred care across the continuum and our Allied Health Assistant workforce is a vital part of this.
We are experienced, friendly and kind. You will also work within a large team of AHAs and have the additional peer support you need to flourish in your career.
A Day in the Life:
You will work with patients and clients every day to enable them to improve their participation in occupations, maintain their independance and prevent deconditioning assocated with hospitalisation. This includes completing therapy as delegated by Allied Health Professionals, that meet individual patient goals, with a range of patients from diverse backgrounds.
The role also includes completing referrals to and liaising with community services, providing assistive equipment, and providing non-clinical support to Allied Health Professinals with the aim to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families.

What you need:
- Relevant Qualification (aligned to position description)
- A Victorian drivers licence
