Our Journey
Primary Care Support Team, as part of the Community Assessment and Response Directorate offers a variety of programs that assist individuals to manage chronic health conditions, covering Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Casey, focusing on the assessment and delivery of client focused care. The team consists of Allied Health Assistants, Care Coordinators, Community Development Workers, Counsellors, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, and Podiatrists. The team is committed to working with communities, families and individuals who have poor health outcomes and to providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace client centred care, evidence-based practice and the Social Model of Health.
We are looking for a Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant for a Part Time Fixed Term Position.
A Day in the Life
Monash Health Primary Care Support is a dynamic service with dedicated, highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
The Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant will assist therapists in the provision of best practice patient centred care and in supporting clients with a wide range of clinical presentations, often presenting with multiple co-morbidity. They will also be involved in running groups.
You will be provided with clinical supervision and support from a senior allied health Therapist as well as support from the leadership team.

What you need:

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

Driver license and an ability to drive company vehicles including small bus (automatic requiring normal licence)
