About the Role
Join our team as an Allied Health Assistant Grade 2 or 3 (dependent upon experience) on a part-time basis at the Kingston Centre with travel across Monash Health sites as required. This exciting role will see you joining the high performing subacute Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology Allied Health Assistant team that offers support and promotes growth. You will be responsible for the provision of assistance to Physiotherapists and other Allied Health professionals.
Performing work of a general nature under the delegation and supervision of allied health professionals including, but not limited to, the following:
- Work with direct supervision to implement therapeutic and related activities, in individual and group settings
- Provide clinical assistance to Allied Health professionals implementing therapy programs in consultation with the Allied Health Professionals
- Provide non-clinical assistance to Allied Health professionals including but not limited to administrative and cleaning duties
- Participate in/lead programs, processes and quality improvement activities
- On occasion represent the Kingston team at AHA group meetings

About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- Demonstrated excellence in initiative and program implementation and a commitment to ongoing evaluation and best practice
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Certificate III or Certificate IV (preferred) in Allied Health Assistance
- If Grade 3 AHA, minimum 3 years’ experience (full time equivalent) and Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance are required
- Relevant experience working as an AHA in a health care setting preferred
- A current Australian Drivers Licence
