Join our team as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation Project Manager on a full-time fixed-term basis until August 2026. You will play a key role in advancing innovation within Radiology by supporting AI based solutions that improve patient safety, patient flow and department productivity. 

 

This is an opportunity to lead with impact in one of Australia’s most complex and rewarding public health environments.

 

Playing a key role in the implementation of a cutting-edge Radiology AI platform and associated clinical algorithms. 

 

You will drive progress and be the Primary Radiology Point of Contact for Monash Health’s Procurement Tender Manager, contributing to tender development, evaluation, and recommendations. Leading the development of a detailed project plan to support the introduction of innovative AI-enabled products across Radiology. 

 

This role is critical to delivering high-quality care and ensuring Monash Health continues to meet the evolving needs of our community. 

 

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Lead Radiology’s input into the AI tender process, including developing requirements and evaluating vendor responses 
  • Assess AI algorithm suitability, performance and integration within clinical workflows
  • Develop a comprehensive implementation plan for an AI-enabled Radiology platform
  • Support clinical, digital health, academic and commercial partnerships 
  • Produce high-quality reports, briefings and presentations to support governance 
  • Contribute to innovation activities across radiology education, workflow automation, analytics and patient safety
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and value-based care

About You:

You are a health-focused project professional who understands the complexities of hospital environments and clinical workflows. You bring experience with AI or innovation projects and can translate technical concepts into practical, safe clinical applications. 

 

Desirable attributes include: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Health Admin, Project Management, IT or health related discipline 
  • Postgraduate qualification in AI, digital health or implementation science 
  • Experience implementing AI or digital innovation in healthcare 
  • Understanding of radiology operations and IT systems 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Experience in project design, planning or management within a health service or similar industry
