Jessie McPherson Private Hospital Maternity Unit is currently a 19-bed antenatal/postnatal unit with a 8 bed Special Care Nursery (SCN).
Situated on the same site as Monash Health and Monash Children’s Hospital, we provide outstanding patient and family centred care in a tertiary facility.
Our Level 3 SCN cares for those newborns that require extra care in their journey.
About the Role
If appointed to the Associate Midwifery Manager role you will:

Assist and deputise the Maternity Services Unit Manager

Be the leader you aspire to be with the support offered within the organisation

Actively contribute to our organisational goals including a positive and safe culture

Be part of a dynamic team

Support other team leaders in mentoring and growing our midwives to deliver safe and excellent women centered care
About You
What you need:
-
A Minimum of 3 years midwifery experience and passion about providing exceptional care to women and their families during pregnancy and Postnatal care

Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHPRA)

Embrace best practice models of care and exhibit leadership qualities

Be highly accountable and demonstrate a strong supportive and engaging style

Be passionate about achieving high quality clinical outcomes

Enjoy working in a diverse and ever changing environment

Be willing to work full-time or part-time (at least 3 shifts per week) across a seven day rotating roster including night shifts
