About the Community Care Unit

 

Our Community Care Unit (CCU) in East Bentleigh is a 20 bed psychosocial residential facility that provides a client focused recovery and rehabilitation program within a community setting. We provide specialist input, assessment and short to medium term therapeutic interventions/case management to assist clients in their recovery journey with 24hr clinical support, psychiatric health care & psychosocial rehabilitation in a residential setting. The health and wellbeing of our consumers is incredibly important to us, and we have Molly the dog who lives on site to assist.

About the Role

 

We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at East Bentleigh CCU as an Associate Nurse Manager.  This role will allow you to utilise your specialist knowledge, skills and experience and work as part of the multi-disciplinary team. This is a full time position on a rotating roster. 

 

About You

 

You will be a motivated person with ability to work with respect and collaboration in providing excellent high quality care & service delivery for all clients and families/carers. As an experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse you will have demonstrated expertise in mental health providing evidenced based services and high standard assessments, treatment and co-ordination of services to clients of the CCU. You are committed to leading by example and delivering a client-focused service with ability to work autonomously along with a multidisciplinary team.

 

What You Need:

  • Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
  • Required a undergraduate nursing degree which led to sole registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse

 

OR

 

  • Required a Bachelor of Mental Health Nursing

 

OR

 

  • Required a Bachelor of Nursing and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
