About the Role:
Join our team as an Associate Nurse Manager in an ongoing part time basis, to work in the Emergency Department at the Victorian Heart Hospital based at Clayton.
Yours is a clinical leadership role representing an integral link between the nursing and leadership team. You are approachable, articulate, and a mentor who leads by example. You thrive supporting your nurses whilst working closely with the Nurse Manager to help drive the operational requirements and key performance indicators (KPI’s) of the department to deliver outstanding patient centred emergency care.
About Us:
Cardiac Emergency
Victorian Heart Hospital Emergency Department, joins Monash Health’s other four departments that provides excellent Emergency treatment to the patients presenting to the service. It is unique in its specialised emergency model, that supports facilitating timely and effective patient care, as well as being renowned in being Australia’s’ first on-site Cardiac Emergency.
With a 22 bed capacity, the Emergency department at VHH caters for Cardiac presentations and they are supported by 24/7 cardiac consultants. They also support non - cardiac related presentations to the ED.
We provide state-of-the-art technology, to deliver patient centred modern emergency care with access to cardiac care specialists.

About You:
You are dedicated, driven and a leader in Emergency Nursing.
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Demonstrated leadership and senior nursing experience within and Emergency Department. Associate Nurse Manager experience is highly regarded
- Post graduate Qualification in Emergency Nursing or Leadership and Management (or working towards) is desirable
- Cardiac experience is desirable but not essential
- AHPRA Registration to practice Independently as a Registered Nurse
